I'll Miss You Kiwi......

I just a call today from my mom and found out that Kiwi, my beloved cockatiel of seven years has died. I'm crying right know even as I write this. :tears: My parents were eating dinner when she just squeaked and collapsed. She was trying to pass an egg, but it was too much for her. My dad tried to revive her, but nothing could be done.

At least I still have my dog Sadie, but it's going to be hard for a while. I want to get another bird, and the place we got her from already has some ready to go, but I don't know if I should wait or not. I feel it would help to ease my pain, but maybe that would be rushing things. Surprisingly, I'm taking this a bit better than I ever thought I could. God, please watch over Kiwi in heaven and take of her for me. :pray:

Kiwi, I love you. You were everything to me. You were one of my best friends and you were my baby. Most of all you were family and my companion. I'll miss you and we'll meet again in the afterlife. Rest in peace. :heart:
